Title : Preparation of ceramic nanocatalyst based on egg shell by ultrasonic wave method and checking its performance in the synthesis of some medicinal compounds.


In this research, ceramic nanocatalyst based on eggshell was prepared from food waste by ultrasonic wave method. The yolk, white and white layer attached to the egg shell were completely separated. To separate the impurities in this composition, the shell was thoroughly washed with water and ethanol. Ultrasonic bath waves were used to prepare nanoparticles of this catalyst. The size distribution of eggshell particles in ethanol solvent was measured by zeta-potential device. The chemical activity of this catalyst was checked by zeta-potential device (potential of colloidal suspension). The results obtained from the zeta-potential spectrum show that the surface charge of the catalyst is positive. Nanoparticle morphology was investigated with FE-SEM scanning electron microscope equipped with X-ray spectroscopy (EDX) unit. The image obtained in this spectrum shows the presence of calcium and magnesium compounds together. Then, some organic compounds were synthesized using this catalyst in ethanol solvent under the reflux conditions. The outer shell of the egg has many mineral compounds. compounds such as calcium carbonate, calcium phosphate and magnesium carbonate present that is playing a key role in this catalyst. This environmentally friendly catalyst was used to catalyze the synthesis of some pharmaceutical compounds through a one-pot reaction. The proposed method offers several advantages, including easy preparation, short reaction time, high efficiency, and easy recovery of the catalyst. According to the results obtained from zeta-potential spectral data, a mechanism for the synthesis of medicinal compounds was reported.
