Biography:
Dr. Andrea Monroy-Licht holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology, an M.Sc. in Environmental Management from Universidad Javeriana in Colombia, and a Ph.D. in Environmental Toxicology from Universidad de Cartagena in Colombia. Her research expertise spans various facets of Environmental Biotechnology, with a strong focus on bioremediation, wastewater treatment, and the biological treatment of environmental pollutants. Currently, she serves as an Instructor Professor within the Department of Chemistry and Biology at Universidad del Norte in Barranquilla, Colombia.
