Biography:
Dr. Olena V. Zenkina is a Full Professor at Ontario Tech University and an internationally recognized researcher in inorganic, organometallic chemistry, and materials science. Her interdisciplinary program develops “smart,” molecularly defined multifunctional materials with programmable properties for sensors, catalysts, coatings, and sustainable energy technologies. Her research leadership has been recognized through the CNC/IUPAC Travel Award (2020), Emerging Materials Chemistry Investigators Lecture Award (2020), Faculty of Science Collaborative R&D Award (2022), Research Excellence Mid-Career Researcher Award (2024), and Research Excellence Chair in Advanced Materials (2022–2024; 2026–2029).
