Biography:
Dr. Abdulmumin Malam Usman (Dr. A.M. Usman), born on 12 February 1984 in Kano State, Nigeria, is an academic and scholar with a PhD specialization in Physical Chemistry. His research interests focus primarily on corrosion inhibition and materials science, with particular interest in developing and understanding innovative materials and chemical approaches for corrosion control. Dr. A.M. Usman has many publications to his name in reportable journals and book chapters. He is presently an academic staff in the Department of Chemistry, Faculty of Natural and Applied Sciences, at Nigerian Army University Biu, Borno State, Nigeria.
Dr. A.M. Usman is also a member of many research oriented organizations such as : Chemical Society of Nigeria (CSN), Science Teachers Association of Nigeria (STAN) and Global Chemical Security and Safety (GCSS)
He is passionate about academic research, teaching, scientific advancement, and contributing to solutions to materials-related challenges through chemistry. Outside his professional activities, he enjoys reading and travelling. He is married with children and is committed to both his academic career and family.
