Biography:
Mirgorod Yuri A. graduated from the Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute (KhPI) with a degree in engineer-technologist of organic chemistry 1962. He worked at a chemical plant in Volgodonsk for the production of detergents. After that, he defended his Ph.D. at KhPI in 1969 and Doctor of Science at the Kiev Institute of Petrochemistry in 1992. He is a specialist in synthesis, physical chemistry and the use of surfactants in nanotechnology. Number of publications 226. Number of patents of the Russian Federation 49. He discovered new quantum materials - aqueous ionic surfactants with large nuclear quantum effect.2010-present work as professor, leading researcher at the Regional Nanotechnology Center Southwest State University (Kursk, Russia).At ResearhGate, he consulted 3880 students, scientists in chemistry, physics, nanotechnology and received 4390 recommendations. For the first places in the competition of innovative activity Mirgorod Yu. A. four times received diplomas of the governor of the Kursk region.
