Biography:
(Dr. Saroja Kumar Barik has completed his master degree from National Institute of Technology, Rourkela, Odisha, India in Environmental Chemistry. He has done his PhD in Environmental Geochemistry from Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology University, Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India. Currently, he is working as Wetland Expert in the Department of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Bihar, Patna, India. He have professional experience with over 20 years of rich research, management and industrial experiences on Environment issues link to pollution, toxicology and climate change . He is directly and indirectly Associated with national and international organization: World Bank, UNICEF, JICA, ICMAM-MOES, ICAR- CIFRI, CSIR- IMMT, SPCB-Dept. of Forest and Environment-Govt. of Odisha, Dept. of Drinking water and sanitation-Govt. of Jharkhand, DHI, Merck India limited and BARC-DAE. He has 13 years expertise in the area of water and sediment quality monitoring of lake, estuaries, port and rural drinking water supply scheme to the community with 22 number of strong research publications in peer review SCOPUS index journals Marine Pollution Bulletin, Environmental science and Pollution Research, Ecohydrology and Hydrobiology, International Journal of Sediment Research, Continental Shelf Research, Environmental Monitoring and Assessment etc.
