Mohammadreza Karamad is an assistant professor at the Department of Physics from the Technical University of Denmark (DTU) in 2014 under the supervision of Prof. Jan Rossmeisl. He worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the SUNCAT Center for Interface Science and Catalysis, at Stanford University under the supervision of Prof. Jens Norskov. He then moved to the University of Calgary in Canada where he was a research associate from 2018 to 2021. His research focuses on using atomistic methods for understanding the kinetics and thermodynamics of reactions at the surface of (electro)catalysts and ultimately designing better catalysts.
