Biography:
Dmitri Gudkov is Head of Aquatic Radioecology Department of the Institute of Hydrobiology of the NAS of Ukraine. He is obtained his M.Sc. in Biology (1990) from the T. Shevchenko Kiev State University, Ph.D. in Radiation Biology (1996) from the Institute of Experimental Pathology, Oncology and Radiobiology and D.Sc. in Radiation Biology (2006) from the T. Shevchenko National University of Kiev. Dmitri is involved in some scientific projects devoted to study of radiation effects on aquatic organisms and behaviour of radionuclides in freshwater ecosystems within the regions where the enterprises of the nuclear fuel cycle located at.
