Food Chemistry deals with the chemical process and interactions of all-hereditary and non-biological constituents of foods. The biological material contains items such as meat, poultry, lettuce, beer, and milk. It is identical to biochemistry in its principal components such as carbohydrates, lipids, and protein, but it also includes fields such as water, vitamins, minerals, enzymes, food additives, flavors, and colors. This regulation also encloses how material changes under certain food processing methods and ways either to upgrade or to limit them from proceeding. An example of improving a process would be to stimulate the fermentation of dairy products with microorganisms that change lactose to lactic acid.
