Nanoscience & Materials Chemistry

Nano Science deals with the study of materials having ultra-small scale and the novel properties. The word Nano science is referred as the study of manipulation and engineering of matter, particles also structures on the nanometer scale. The crucial properties of materials, such as the electrical, optical, thermal, and mechanical properties, are resolve by the way molecules and atoms collect on the Nano scale into larger structures. Moreover, in nanometer-size structures, these properties often different than on macro scale, because the quantum mechanical side effect becomes vital.

Materials Chemistry involves the design and synthesis of materials potentially useful for the physical characteristics like magnetic, structural and catalytic properties. It also involves in the characterization, processing and molecular-level understanding of these substances. Major research involve development of novel, materials, spanning metallic, semiconducting, organic, and carbon-based nanomaterial’s, bimolecular, polymeric, and supramolecular structures, porous structures like metal organic and porous organic frameworks, solid-state materials also inorganic-organic hybrids like Nano-bio conjugates, and their congregation. It uncovers their physical and chemical properties and functions.
