Title : Comparative study between liquid phase and solid phase radioimmunoassay system for determination of steroid hormones in human serum
Abstract:
The aim of this lecture is to study the comparison between the separation methods that used in the radioimmunoassay system. Steroid hormones are a good model to use in this comparison, including estradiol & testosterone. The coated tube, coated beads, magnetic particles…etc are mentioned in this report as solid phase techniques. This comparison ended with recording the advantages and disadvantages of each method of separation used in order to put it before the researchers, and he has to choose the method that suits his goal from each study separately.
